Review: After a four year hiatus to regroup and determine the future of the franchise, Disney and what a surprise this time mega-hit series Pirates of the Caribbean On Stranger Tides back on. It's hard to believe that this franchise evolved from the concept once blasted from a trip to the park turned into a blockbuster hit movie. After the exhaustion of the world of Pirates with two back-to-back sequels of gigantic proportions and somewhat disappointing in 2006 and 2007, a break in the action to recalibrate Captain Jack Sparrows compass is badly needed. The new course is set by using the On Stranger Tides put on screen, but with the fresh air of the characters and more importantly, more direct purpose.As promise to end the End of the World, Jacks searching for the Fountain of Youth if no more ships and giggles. Rush gives outstanding performance theater as the main villain in the first film, but the first McShane introduce quantitative real forces of evil franchise has seen. Although voodoo skills and reputation for killing his men and bring them back from the dead to serve as his zombie slave is never fully realized, he was ruthless villain who takes this movie. He never fully crossed nasty scare-your-child, but he couldve at every instant and feelings that emanated from his appearance. Overall, this film aligns itself more traditional fantasy and folklore of the supernatural as previously film.Among other new faces, new director Rob Marshall as a franchise to serve the work. Chicago Filmmaker effective chew scenery and create a mood and tone, but hopefully a little more inspired action, especially considering the reputation of the series to ingenuity.Marshalls sword against the best job and the best sequence of the film deals with the mermaid, not singing and kind of clamshell bra, but tempt you with their looks and then try and consume with fangs either. Calm, tense action sequences and culminating in a full-on, mermaids are part of the ingredients are really fresh from the film.
