Review: I thought it worked in Luhrmanns Gatsby: Gatsby I thought DiCaprio was better than Robert Redford (Redford was a very old man, ignoring the character). I thought DiCaprio understand the complex nature and is not sufficiently mobile convincing.I Carey Mulligan and thought she was more convincing as Daisy.I liked the story stuck with Fitzgerald - which was 75% of the time. (Just read the book again in 6 months ago, I learned most of the talking, like a real book), I thought it was good costume design. Catherine Martin worked as a costume for all Baz Luhrmanns film and won an Oscar for the costumes in Moulin Rouge (as well as the appointment of Romeo + Juliet and Australia, his work again excellent here -. One of the real strength of the film. 2nd half .. I thought movie was much better than one. While I do not like the soundtrack I loved that Gershwins Rhapsody in Blue snuck into the first exhibition in the Valley of Ashes Manhattan.The and Dr. TJ Eckleburg, ophthalmologist signs are really good - but unfortunately , have rushed to the scene so strong and so to prevent the zone can not be a symbol of death Fitzgerald goal should be ... in the Knicks at home, where Daisy holds tea and again meets Gatsby.What I do not like about it. every scene with Tobey Maguire it Nick Carraway many Gatsbys his lapdog He's too big-eyed in the history of the end of the movie ..
