Review: Several people compared to Neesons release of purchase 2008. Both have a similar concept, Liam comes to fast-paced journey to retrieve something special that was taken from him. This time it was not his daughter, his mind. Unlike the acquisition, Unknown is more of a mystery suspense of an action movie. There are some chases and fight scenes, but not the main goal. The focus of the film, and it is unique for this is unpredictable. We are puzzled as Neesons character and there are times when we do not know whether it will succeed. There are several twists and unlike most mystery thrillers, I more than half the movie to figure it out all out.In short, Unknown is a pretty decent mystery thriller. Good performance. Good story about secrets. Good music. A good movie? I especially like the whole gray, dreary atmosphere that reflects the film rather sad time. Good twists. Good voltage? Sound mixers mustve should kick adding emphasis on sound effects to surprise the audience. One thing I noticed that Liam Neeson is really showing its age. This is not necessarily a bad thing, in turn, helps their characters. It gets tedious that Hollywood always uses the generic 30-something-year-old actor and incredibly ABS, which is thrown into a terrible situation. It's nice to see an actor playing an aging upper middle-aged man who might come to mind when running away from people who try to kill him.
